What do you do when WASHINGTON MUTUAL BANK shreds your driver's license?

Yesterday I got a call that I left my license at the nearby WAMU bank, but once I got the voicemail, it was too late to pick it up, so...I went today and they said they couldn't find it and that it probably got shredded. I'm very frustrated and don't want to pay for a new license that got shredded by someone else. I mean seriously...who shreds a license? The address is right there! Send it back! I would like advice on what to do and to get some satisfying results from.
